1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Frugalist.club, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. About Frugalist club

Frugalist club operates Frugalist.club, free software for personal financial planning. We provide:

• Free, for everyone: Trinity Study Retirement Planner, Monte Carlo Retirement Simulator, International Retirement Simulator, Coast FIRE Calculator, Debt Payoff Calculator, Mortgage & Purchase Simulator, Multi-Scenario Comparator, Unlimited Simulation History, Emergency Fund Calculator, unlimited simulations, heatmap visualization, scenario analysis, and educational content
• In progress, also free when ready: Expense Analyzer, Export PDF, Finances Distilled

3. We’re Not Financial Advisors

Markets are unpredictable. Past performance doesn’t guarantee future results. Always consult with a qualified financial advisor before making major financial decisions.

4. Cost and Contributions

• Frugalist.club is free. There is no paid plan, no subscription, and no charge for any tool.
• The infrastructure is paid for by Juan Echeverri personally.
• Members may contribute voluntarily through third-party platforms such as Buy Me a Coffee. A contribution is a gift: it does not purchase goods or services, and it does not unlock features or create any obligation on either side.
• Contributions made by mistake are returned on request; see the Refund Policy.
• You can delete your membership at any time from your settings.

5. Acceptable Use

We trust you to use Frugalist.club responsibly. Don’t:

• Scrape or mass-extract data from the service
• Share your sign-in with others. Membership is free, so they can join on their own.
• Use the service for illegal activities
• Attempt to breach the security of the service
• Abuse our systems or intentionally create excessive load

6. Intellectual Property

All content, code, design, and methodology on Frugalist.club belong to us. Your simulations and data belong to you - we’re just storing them for you. You can export or delete them anytime.

7. Limitation of Liability

Frugalist.club is provided “as is.” We work hard to ensure accuracy, but we can’t guarantee that projections will materialize. Markets are unpredictable by nature.

We’re not responsible for financial decisions you make based on our tools. Use them as part of your research, not as your only source of information.

8. Data and Privacy

Your privacy matters. We collect only what’s necessary to provide our service. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Service Changes and Availability

We continuously improve Frugalist.club. We may add features, modify existing ones, or (rarely) discontinue features that don’t work. We’ll notify you of significant changes.

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we can’t guarantee the service will always be available. Maintenance happens, and sometimes things break. We’ll fix them as quickly as possible.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Major changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the new terms.
